Sensor data fusion

The fusion of heterogeneous sensor data is essential for reliable environmental perception and robust decision-making processes in autonomous systems. We develop algorithms for the combined evaluation of data from cameras, LiDAR, radar, IMU, and other sensors. The goal is a consistent, precise, and real-time capable representation of the environment – even under challenging conditions and in the event of the failure of individual information sources.
