Healthcare 4.0
The importance of IT in healthcare is steadily increasing in Germany, particularly due to the introduction of the telematics infrastructure in 2018, which is driving digitalization. An important step was the networking of doctor's offices and clinics with insurance databases, followed by KIM (Communication in Medicine) and the e-prescription, which enables digital access to prescriptions. Additionally, the electronic patient record (EPA) was introduced, which is to be used mandatorily starting from January 1, 2025.
The German healthcare system is thus undergoing a profound transformation. We leverage our extensive expertise from the automotive industry, which is subject to similarly stringent regulations in many areas, to transfer successful approaches from the fields of cloud technology, end-to-end architecture, and backend development into the healthcare sector.
